Samhita – a collaborative social marketplace - has now launched The Hari Chopra Social Awards 2010 (HCSA) in partnership with Global India Fund.
HCSA will disburse grants of up to Rs. 5,00,000 each to multiple organizations annually, particularly ones that integrate girls’ education, training and livelihood with health. HCSA will provide unrestricted grants for program as well as organizational support. Click here for additional information.
Nonprofit organizations that register at www.samhita.org will be eligible for:
- Unrestricted grants of up to Rs. 5,00,000 (Rs. 5 lakhs) to strengthen organizational capacity and increase outreach and impact
- Free online profile on www.samhita.org to reach out to donors, volunteers, potential employees, service providers and sector experts around the globe
- Registration fee waiver and free access to services offered on www.samhita.org for a few months
Registrations are open only for nonprofit organizations now. Donations, volunteering and other services will be available from September. Registrations for individuals will open soon.
